ORGANISATION
InDance International was established in 2016 and is a non-for-profit Association to expand the needs of Dancers transitioning from Full-Time Training into the Professional Sector of the Performing Arts, Contemporary Dance.
Since its development it has provided over 201 performances world wide and continues to defend the needs of Dancers seeking to expand their Skills, Knowledge and Dance Experience.
Based in Barcelona, Catalunya the Association operates internationally to ensure that each Dancer can experience and promote their skills to new audiences.
We organise residencies, workshops, summer activities and performances on Contemporary Dance with previous support from Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies).
We are a diverse community with artists from the Caribbean, Africa, United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Central America, Brazil, Europe and Canada. We are deeply rooted in a diverse global community and welcome all nationalities. Our values is artistic development and freedom of expression in dance, and to present new dance works to expose audiences to experimentation and emerging dance creators.
InDance International is a member of the IETM-International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts, an organization whose objective is to promote the development of performing arts in a global environment and to value the role of performing arts as an essential base of social, cultural and economic development. Its mission is to facilitate the creation of profesional opportunities and educational for the transfer of knowledge among all the agents of performing arts at an international level.
IETM integrates more tan 500 organizations from 50 countries around the world, especially in Europe.
Artistic Director Harriet Macauley is elected as a Artistic Advisor from 2023 to 2026.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY
We regularly vote on the functioning and organizing of the Association InDance International. The General Assembly is made up of individuals, consultants, institutions and networks. Members of the Association at all times, who act in projects, events, daily duties and international collaboration, do so for the benefit of a non-for-profit international artistic community.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors is made up of Founder, President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer. The Management Office Works as a non-directive management body, created for the administrative information and coordination to support the Association and its communications.

2017
From 2017 the organisation began to solidify creative projects with the introduction of numerous collaborators in Dance, Photography, Digital Composition and Film Editing. Dancers were sought upon graduation and completion of performing arts studies to take part in numerous photography shoots, screen dance films and performances.

The evolution of InDance International continues to expand and evolve into a pulsating force of collaborative investigations into Dance and Technology in performance. InDance International presented project Dance and Multimedia in COVID-19 in partnership with Barcelona based organisations.

In 2018 Event InDance Barcelona featured Raul Tamez of Mexico City and Jenna Pollack of Juilliard School, New York, USA to perform, teach and facilitate in the first InDance Barcelona Event. Celebrity Carmit Bacher of PussyCat Dolls, Los Angeles supported InDance Event, Harriet Macauley with interviews on Barcelona Radio, features in La Vanguard and Time Out, to inspire individuals pursuing dance. InDance has worked in partnership with SAE Digital, Sansha on Stage, Barcelona Dance, Institute of the Arts Barcelona and Cultural Secretary of Culture, Mexico.

- InDance International Projects are designed to place special emphasis through activities on the need for creative opportunities for dancers, performers, choreographers and multimedia artists. We are a metamorphosis of what can be produced in collaboration with international partners in Dance and Multimedia.
COMMUNITY AND PHILOSOPHY
We are anchored in a crystallization of what we can become and we are embedded in egalitarianism. We evoke emotional, intellectual and spiritual awareness to exceed the expectations of the human body and its existence in performance. We achieve our aspirations by offering various activities in dance, events, performance, productions with Multimedia.
InDance International is established through passion and participation. We work in direct collaboration with artists, universities, colleges, companies and organizations.

The activities are driven by Choreographer Harriet Macauley and independent artists of InDance International who are influenced largely by regular dance practice and academic investigation. Eminent in the process is the understanding of dance practice with multimedia and the application of academic knowledge to support the making process. Activities are grounded in academic inquiry and practice-led collaboration, with an aim to make visible the intrinsic nature of the choreographic making process.

Our next InDance Barcelona is in October 2022 in collaboration with Berlin Based Contemporary Dance Artists.
InDance Barcelona is an event driven through a passion for Performance, Photography, Videography, Creativity and Excellence in live and interactive digital dance performance.
The event is a distinctive community of international artists and performers, who are devoted to collaboration and identify with a greater acceptance of social and cultural differences.
We are governed by self distinctiveness connected to all, for the realisation of immaculate performances of contemporary dance works.

We are supported by several international organisations for the development of Activities, Projects, Performances, Workshops and Residencies for the sustainability of contemporary and multimedia in Dance. We aim to continue on a process of building new networks for individuals, communities, organisations and universities Internationally. Projects are short and long term.
Sandbox is a new project of Fundación Espacio Creativo created in collaboration with BID Lab as a workspace and platform with the purpose of integrating technology and performing arts through training, interdisciplinary experimentation and innovation.
The professional development program which focuses on continuing education for local artists and the creation of new and innovative dance productions.
Harriet Macauley in Collaboration with the Fundacion Espacio Creativo (FEC) is an NGO based in Panama, created in 2014 with the purpose of providing opportunities through dance education and culture.
