    THREE YEAR PERFORMANCE PROGRAM​

    Overview: Three Year Program​

    InDance International offers an in-depth vocational program for dancers aged 18 – 25 years old in Barcelona in partnership with JaraDansa in Castelldefels.

    The vocational program is designed through Three Pillars:

    • Collaboration
    • Research and Investigation
    • Professionalism

    InDance International has a pioneering approach to the training for early stage dancers on our curriculum,  to remain responsive to the changing needs of professionals within the Dance world. The three year program is designed to complement the one year performance program. 

    Year 1

    Dancers work on the core principles of Technique in Dance to inform their practical skill acquisition. The content of the modules will allow  for students to explore differing facets of their pathway in Dance e.g. Ballet, Floor Acrobatic Techniques, Choreography, Performance Technique, and Lyrical Jazz. 

    Year 2

    In parallel with Technical Dance Training, Dancers advance on the creation of independent choreography, solo creations and collaborations. Additional subjects taught are Dance Analysis, Choreology, Contact Improvisation and Dance Film. 

    Year 3

    Final year is a performance period in England, Spain and Internationally centred on the following

    • Choreographic creations with Professional Choreographers
    • Performances in Spain, England and Internationally
    • Video Reel and Portfolio on Stage Performances
    • One to One Artist Development Talks

    PROGRAM FEES

    Fees Per Year: 3,500€

    First instalment of 3,500€ is due to be paid upon your acceptance of the program. InDance International aim to support all dancers from a variety of international and non-European countries with Visa & Accommodation in Barcelona.

    ONE YEAR PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

    Over View One Year Program

    InDance International performance program for dancers aged 20 – 30 years old will elevate your skills in performance based in Barcelona, Spain. Our program is for European and International dancers who seek further pre-professional training on the main components of performance.

    Film Dance Creations:

    Led by Kamal and Brannon of YDT Film Studios, England. The course is a part of the program development to create a portfolio on your dance work and performances. The course is finely tuned to focus on the use of the camera in Dance, aimed at teaching dancers to create content for instagram and other social media platforms and prepare a HD portfolio for auditions. 

    Live Music:

    Dancers work with musicians based in Barcelona to elevate the performance experience. In addition bespoke music scores are created for performances in England, Spain and Internationally.

    Workshops:

    Important to the program is the exchange of knowledge on Dance from practicing Dance Artists. We provide workshops from visiting dance artists. Previous artists include; Flavia Dule, Nathaniel Parchment, Pierre Lison, Bryan Doisy and more.

    Technical Training:

    We provide regular classes in Ballet, Release, Floor, Acrobatics, Pilates, Body Conditioning, Body Conditioning, Pilates, Somatic, Dance Analysis, Anatomy and Acro-Contemporary provided by working professionals, established choreographers and artists to include: Raul Tamez, Harriet Macauley, Alexey Dmitrenko, Antonia Peris, Flavia Dule, Georgia Jelenkovic and Yasser D’Oquendo and more.

    Professional Development:

    This module is provided in the final term of the one year program and is led by Toni Gonzalez. The sessions are tailored to discuss what ambitions and aims you have in Dance, Performance, Choreography to create an action plan to reach your ambitions. 

    Performances and Choreography:

    Dancers on the one year program, perform in England, Spain and internationally to experience the essential skills needed to be a dancer in the professional world. Residences and performance are managed by InDance International Team and Production Manager to ensure you receive the best support to stage your best performances.

    Payment for One Year Program: 4,500€

    First instalment of 4,500€ is due to be paid within two weeks of your acceptance on the program. A payment plan can be considered and provided upon request on application acceptance.

    *InDance International provides limited scholarships to support talented dancers.

    InDance International is an independent Association and Institution. Please note that a Visa application takes a minimum of 2 months to process, and therefore we must have received your application to audition before the 1st of September in an audition period. If you are a non-EU citizen, applications after this date may receive administrative refusal. We encourage international dancers to apply early

    Experience in contemporary dance, theatre and ballet alongside extremely high ambition and an exceptional talent for movement is required. 
It is emphasized that candidates have a strong appetite for developing their artistic reflection and body potential through working at a high physical level throughout the day.

    To audition for the 3-year Diploma Certification Programme is to audition for becoming part of an international talented team for 3 years. All students are expected to contribute to a positive team energy and support each other in developing their potential and skills to the fullest; through daily training and through performance periods.

    Step 3: Audition viewing takes place by artistic members of the Association

    Step 4: Applicants will be notified of their admission or non-admission to the programme shortly after the viewing of all materials for the audition and the latest two weeks after the date sent

    Diploma Certificate:

    To obtain the diploma students must pass the termly exams and pass the school year. If absence exceeds 10%, a certificate can not be issued.

    Deadlines:

    You can apply until the programme is full. We recommend that you apply before end of March 2025.

    Each applicant who has completed registration and payment to secure their place on the program will officially receive documentation to process Visas, Accommodation and NIE for Spain.

    Entry into the program is twice a year and we have a large amount of submissions. You would need to send a private message to the Board to request removal. Each applicant would need to complete a form explaining their reasons for a change of entry date.

    Every applicant for the dance programs, must complete the Detailed Information Form for the organisation, Identification, Finance and entry into Spain.

    • Partnerwork – Duets, Trios.

    • Camera for Dance – Site Specific Dance Creations.

    • Health and Well being – Body Conditioning, Stretch For Dancers, Yoga Practices and Breath Control.

    • Composition and Collaboration – Theory

    InDance International provides the best options for accommodation in the city of Barcelona. Accommodation is sourced by the organisation agency to ensure all contracts and living standards meet the needs of the dancers.

    We are able to provide verbal and administrative support through our organisation to enter Spain on a student visa to attend our programs. Upon registration and acceptance on the program, we will contact you to arrange a ZOOM meeting to discuss your needs and advise you on how to get a visa from the Spanish Embassy

    Upon completion of the program, each dancer is awarded with a HD edited portfolio of their dance materials. It includes: Staged Performances, Photography Sessions, Interviews and more. You must complete the program to receive your Performance Portfolio.

    InDance International can provide official support for your application for finance from your home country. This can be requested upon acceptance to your chosen program.

    No, if you are awarded a scholarship it will only be a percentage of your fees for the program tuition.

    Spanish residents, earning within Spain, are able to obtain a loan for InDance International Program Fees. Students from other territories are able to apply for student loans from their home countries.

    Face to Face auditions are for dancers who want to visit InDance International in Barcelona City. We regularly hold auditions for our programs throughout the year by video submission, class audition or online.

    The entire program is in English, however you will choose to learn Spanish or Catalan.

    We do not cover fees to Travel to Spain to complete your training program.
