Equal Arts Newsletter #1
About
Equal Arts is a European Cooperation Project (Erasmus KA210) designed to support gender equality in leadership and management roles across the performing arts, dance and media sectors. At its heart, the project turns real sector experience into practical digital learning tools that VET trainers and educators can use immediately.
The project brings together partners from different countries to gather good practices, build accessible learning content, and share practical ideas through online capacity-building activities. The result is a set of resources that are useful, transferable and easy to adapt across different training contexts.
Equal Arts is built on a clear belief: women deserve far more chances to lead in the performing arts. To explore how things currently look in Spain, Italy and Ireland, we carried out the following studies:
- Collect & analyse good practices and case studies from within the field.
- Develop a digital portfolio to inform the performing arts sector
- Create a LMS & practical online curriculum for Artists, teachers, trainers and more.
- Produce Digital Micro-learning Courses to provide bite-sized video units
- Provide online capacity events to share, inspire and support women
